Multi award-winning architecture firm Edition Office asked CUUB studio to develop visual communication for River House, their project in Melbourne.
EXTERIOR. River House elevated above the flood plains of Melbourne’s Yarra River. The building is characterized by its rectangular forms, with spaces that continue out into the landscaping that was made by Eckersley Garden Architecture. All metal structures, boundary walls, retaining walls and fences should have been finished in a dark color.
That rare case when a client asked to create an exterior view in the evening.
Eye-catching combination of shapes, textures, lighting, shadows, colors and tones creats the image's atmosphere and clearly transmit an architect's message.
The arrival to the River House wanders through the long central courtyard garden of the home. The general atmosphere is calm and welcoming. Landscaping by Eckersley Garden Architecture.
INTERIOR. The architecture allows the trees and gardens of the site to spill up into the living platform of the home. Therefore the boundaries between inside and outside are blurred.
